Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the X2 harness connector at the PCM.
  2. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp does not illuminates between the crank signal circuit terminal X2-52 and ground.
    • If the test lamp illuminates, test the crank signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, test or replace the ignition switch.
  3. If the circuit tests normal, replace the PCM.
