Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the PCM.
  2. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the ignition 1 voltage circuit terminal X1-20 and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ignition 1 voltage circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
  3. If the circuit tests normal, replace the PCM.
