Installation Procedure

  1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Using the ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), install the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

    Tighten: 

    • Without a ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm)

      20 N.m (15 lb ft)

    • With a ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm)

      10 N.m (7 lb ft)

  3. Install intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
