Assembly Procedure

  1. Install the flow control spring (5), if removed from the pump housing (1).
  2. Lubricate the new O-ring seal (3) with power steering fluid.
  3. Install the O-ring seal (3) onto the connector and fitting assembly (2).
  4. Install the control valve assembly (4).
    5. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  5. Install the connector and fitting assembly (2) and tighten to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
