Installation Procedure

NOTE: Make note of the MAF sensor orientation when fitting to the air induction tube ensuring, arrow pointing toward the engine.

Install the new MAF sensor seal (1) locating the seal in the location holes and the MAF sensor.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the MAF sensor to air box retaining screws (1) and tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
Install the mass air flow (MAF) harness connector (2).
Install the MAF sensor clamps (1) to the MAF sensor.
