Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the key to the ignition OFF position.
  2. Remove the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor to yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer mounting bracket retaining nuts (3).
  5. Remove the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor (2) from the vehicle.
