Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Left Side Bracket Screws

    NOTE: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT WARNING .
  1. Install the four screws and the left side bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the four bracket screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  3. Install the four screws and the right side bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the four bracket screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the following from the radio:
    • The electrical connector
    • The antenna lead
  6. Install the radio to the instrument panel.
  7. Install the 4 bolts which secure the radio.

    Tighten:  Tighten the four bolts to 13 N.m (10 lb ft).

  8. Install the IP accessory center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement .
