Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear seat retractor in the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
    IMPORTANT: Position the retractor alignment tabs.
  2. Install the rear seat retractor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  3. If you are installing a side retractor, install the retractor side belt anchor bolt to the floor pan.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Folding) .
  6. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
