Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the intake manifold tuning valve O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the intake manifold tuning valve.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the intake manifold tuning valve bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Position the power steering pump reservoir bracket and install the bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the intake manifold tuning valve.
  6. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
