Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COVER REPLACEMENT .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Intake Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the intake camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (1).

  3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the CMP sensor.
