Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
  2. Open the door.
  3. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  4. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  5. Remove the front door speaker. Refer to Speaker Replacement - Front Door in Entertainment.
  6. Remove the outside mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power .
  7. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
  8. Remove the front door window belt outer sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer .
  9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window .
  10. Remove the front door frame applique. Refer to Door Frame Applique/Runchannel Replacement - Front .
  11. Remove the window channel retainer. Refer to Window Channel Retainer Replacement - Front Door .
  12. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door .
  13. Remove the front door window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door .
  14. Remove the front door inside handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Inside .
  15. Remove the lock rod guide block. Refer to Handle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
  16. Remove the front door outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside .
  17. Remove the front door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Front Door .
  18. Remove the front door body side molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Body Side in Exterior Trim.
  19. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  20. Remove the electrical harness from the door.
  21. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door .
  22. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door .
  23. Remove the front door hinge bolts. Refer to Door Adjustment - Front .
  24. Support the front door.

  25. Remove the hinge bolts from the door side. Refer to Door Adjustment - Front .
  26. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.
