Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the MAF sensor seal to the air cleaner cover.

    IMPORTANT: Do NOT use any lubricant other than clean water on the MAF seal.
  2. Lubricate the seal with clean water.
  3. Install the MAF sensor to the air cleaner cover.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the MAF sensor screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the MAF sensor screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  5. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
  6. Install the MAF sensor electrical connector.
