Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Brake Module Assembly, EBCM Harness Connector, Bracket & Nuts

  2. Disconnect the electronic brake control module (EBCM) harness connector (4).
  3. Remove the 6 brake pipes from the brake modulator assembly (2).
  4. Plug the brake pipes in order to prevent loss or contamination of brake fluid.
  5. Remove 2 nuts (1) from the brake pressure modulator.
  6. Remove the brake pressure modulator assembly from the bracket (3).
