Installation Procedure

  1. Install the flow control spring (2).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the flow control valve assembly (3) to the power steering pump.

    Tighten:  Tighten the flow control valve (5) to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).

  3. Install the power steering pressure hose.

    Tighten:  Tighten the power steering pressure hose to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
