Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT (TELESCOPING)  or STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT (MANUAL)  .

  2. Remove the wire harness straps (2) from the steering column tilt head assembly (1) and the column.

  3. Remove the wire harness assembly (1) from the wire harness strap (2).

  4. Remove the 2 pan head tapping screws (1).

  5. Remove the multifunction turn signal switch assembly (1).
