Installation Procedure

  1. Align the center support bracket to the hood latch center support and to the upper support.
  2. Install the bolts to the hood latch center support and hand tighten.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolt to the front bumper fascia upper support.

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the bolt to the front bumper fascia upper support to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
    2. Tighten the bolts to the hood latch center support to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the upper radiator air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle and Deflector Replacement - Upper in Engine Cooling.
  5. Close the hood.
