Removal Procedure

  1. Open the assist handle covers using a small flat bladed tool.

  3. Remove the screws from the assist handle.
  4. Remove the assist handle.

    IMPORTANT: The side rail lamp base plate plastic retainers might drop out. Note the location of the retainers.
  6. Remove the side rail lamp base plate.

  8. Pull the service loop loose from the glue.
  9. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp.
  10. Remove the side rail lamp socket from the base plate by sliding off.

  12. Remove the bulb if necessary.
