Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the knock sensors.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sensors to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  2. Fig 2: View Of Rubber Covers

  3. Connect the knock sensor electrical connectors.
  4. insure the rubber covers are securely in place.
  5. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
