Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT:
Clean all the fuel pipe connections and surrounding areas before disconnecting the pipes in order to avoid possible contamination of the fuel system.
- Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
- Disconnect the fuel return line from the sender assembly. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
- Disconnect the fuel feed line from the fuel filter. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
- Cap the fuel sender assembly pipes.
- Disengage the fuel lines from the clip (7) at the front of the fuel tank.
- Remove the fuel lines.
