Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (5.3L Engine) .
  2. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (5.3L) in Power Steering System.
  3. Remove the generator bracket bolts.
  4. Remove the generator bracket.
