Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the fuel level sensor up in order to install the fuel level sensor to the fuel sender module.
  2. Ensure that the fuel level sensor retainer is properly engaged.

  3. Connect the fuel level sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the fuel sender to the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement (Prior to VIN 4S558922 (100mm Sender)) Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement (VIN 4S558922 and Later (130mm Sender))  Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).
