EVAP Canister: Installation

  1. Install EVAP canister (1) to vehicle underbody and secure with the 3 bolts (2).
  2. Tighten the EVAP canister bracket support bolts (2) to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect 3 EVAP hoses (3) to EVAP canister (1). See Figure .
  4. Connect EVAP pressure switching solenoid harness connector (4).
  5. Connect EVAP vapor line (1) to EVAP canister port by pinching both sides of the hose connector (1). See Figure .
  6. Connect ORVR vent line (1) to EVAP canister port by pinching both sides of the hose connector (1). See Figure .
  7. Lower vehicle.
