Test Procedure (Radio)

  1. If diagnostic system check for radio has been performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check for radio has not been performed, perform radio diagnostic system check. See RADIO/AUDIO SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Perform RADIO SETUP procedure or VIN RELEARN under radio special functions menu on scan tool. Cycle ignition switch from OFF to RUN positions. If DTC B1001 resets in radio, replace radio.
