EGR Valve Pipe: Installation

  1. Install the EGR pipe to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the EGR pipe nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install the EGR pipe and the EGR pipe bolt to the EGR valve. Tighten the EGR pipe bolt to specification.
  2. Use the floor jack in order to raise the frame and powertrain until the frame contacts the underbody rails. Install the frame bolts and tighten bolts to specification. Remove the jack stands. Lower and remove the floor jack. Release the parking brake.
