Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sierra, 2003 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2003 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the wire connector (2).
  2. Push in the radio assembly (1) in the opening in order to install the screws.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the 3 screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  4. Install the cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL REPLACEMENT-INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER .
  5. Calibrate the new radio assembly. Refer to SERVICE PROGRAMMING SYSTEM (SPS) .
