Recirculated Air Mode
When recirculation switch is pressed, a signal is sent from Heater Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) control module to the recirculation actuator through the recirculation door control circuit. When signal is received, the recirculation actuator moves into recirculated air mode. This brings air from inside the vehicle instead of fresh air from the outside. Recirculation is only available when HVAC control module is in vent or bi-level positions. Recirculated air mode will stay on and the LED will illuminate until either outside air or a non-recirculated air mode is selected. When the recirculation actuator sees an open in the control circuit, the actuator will default to recirculated air position.
