Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 8.1L.
  2. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (1).

  4. Remove the MAP sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the MAP sensor.
  6. Inspect the MAP sensor seal for wear or damage, replace as necessary.
