Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the auxiliary HVAC control assembly to the overhead console.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the auxiliary HVAC control assembly.
  3. Install the overhead console to the headliner.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the overhead console screw.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
