Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the module to the door.
  2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the bolts retaining the regulator to the door.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).

  4. Align the window to the regulator, and tighten the clamp bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp bolts to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).

  5. Connect the window motor electrical connector.
  6. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade)  or Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Suburban/Yukon XL/Avalanche/Escld EXT) .
  7. Install the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Suburban/Yukon XL/Avalanche/Escld EXT) .
