Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER .
  2. Remove the IP cluster harness in order to gain access to the VCU bracket screw.
  3. Remove the screw securing the VCU to the bracket.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the VCU from the bracket.
  6. The old VCU must be returned for core credit.
