Air Cleaner Assembly: Installation

Install the air cleaner tub by pressing downward on the tub until the grommets are seated on the mounting studs. See Fig 1 . Insert the air cleaner element into the air cleaner tub. Install the air cleaner cover which contains the MAF and IAT sensors. Tighten the clamp to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the air cleaner cover. Fasten the air cleaner cover retainer clips. Connect the MAF and IAT sensor harness connectors. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten battery cable to specification.
