Circuit Description

Engine oil level switch is a float switch that grounds engine oil level switch circuit when oil level is okay. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) checks engine oil level switch circuit during engine start-up.

NOTE: Ensure engine oil level is not low before proceeding.
