Entire Seat Will Not Go Forward &/Or Back (Up Or Down Functions Operate Normally)

1) Using test light, backprobe between inoperative seat adjuster motor connector C3, terminal "A" (Tan wire) and ground. Move power seat switch to forward position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection or open in Tan wire. If connection and circuit are okay, replace inoperative power seat switch.

2) Backprobe between seat adjuster motor connector C3, terminal "B" (Light Green wire) and ground. Move power seat switch to back position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection or open in Light Green wire. If connection and circuit are okay, replace inoperative power seat switch.

3) Backprobe between seat adjuster motor connector C3, terminals "A" (Tan wire) and "B" (Light Green wire). Move power seat switch to forward, then back positions. If test light glows in both positions, check for poor connections at forward/back motor. If connections are okay, replace forward/back motor. If test light does not glow in both positions, replace inoperative power seat switch.
