Potentiometer (Variable Resistor): Notes

Two methods are used to adjust the potentiometer (variable resistor). The first method is used when making the adjustment in the car, while the second is used when making a bench adjustment after installing a new potentiometer.

NOTE: When replacing potentiometer, note position of original and scribe alignment marks to assure proper positioning of new unit.
