DTC P1687: No Cluster Bus Message: Description

Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC) bus is monitored with ignition on. DTC will set in PCM when no messages are received from MIC for 20 seconds. Possible causes are: intermittent fault in wiring harness, defective MIC or defective PCM.
