Interior Light Test 2B - Courtesy Lights Inoperative With Any Door

NOTE: Perform INTERIOR LIGHT TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Stop courtesy light actuation. Open driver's door. Using scan tool, read left front door ajar switch status. If scan tool displays DRDOOR AJAR: CLOSED, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure in CHIME TEST 2A. If scan tool does not display DRDOOR AJAR: CLOSED, go to INTERIOR LIGHT TEST 3A  .
