Exterior Light Test 7A - UNDERHOOD Lights Will Not Turn Off

NOTE: Perform EXTERIOR LIGHT TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Ensure hood is closed and aligned correctly. Using scan tool, read hood ajar switch sense. If scan tool displays HOOD AJAR: OPEN, repair underhood light driver circuit (Pink/Black wire) between hood ajar switch and underhood lights for short to ground. If scan tool does not display HOOD AJAR: OPEN, see VTSS TEST 8A  .
