Detonation Sensor (3.3L)

Sensor is mounted on engine block. Positioning of detonation sensor enables it to detect detonation in any cylinder. Sensor generates an input signal to SBEC when detonation occurs. The SBEC uses this input to adjust spark advance and to eliminate detonation.
