Sensor Tests

With engine running of idle and "LO-AUTO" button Dressed, rotate voltmeter knob from "Off" to "Ambient Sensor" position. Observe voltmeter, if indicator is in red area to left, sensor is "shorted", if indicator is in red area to right, sensor is "open". In either case, sensor is faulty or disconnected, and must be replaced or connected. This test applies also to temperature lever and in-car sensor.

CAUTION: Do not allow voltmeter dial to remain in any of the sensor positions for more friar, 30 seconds, as voltage is being applied to sensors and they may be damaged.
