Park Test

This test checks the system with the ignition and/or pushbuttons Off.

1. With engine running and system in "LO-AUTO", set voltmeter knob at "Blower Volts" and mode knob at "Heat". System will stabilize in full heat and Hi blower.
2. Change mode knob to "Park". Blower speed (voltmeter readings) will drop in steps to low blower and stop.
   NOTE: When tester is installed and in "Park" position, blower motor will remain on-unless off button in pressed to vent system.
3. Change mode knob to "A/C" (blower speeds will go in steps to Hi blower). Change mode knob to "Park" and system will return to second lowest blower speed and A/C mode and then stop.
4. Set voltmeter knob to "Servo-Amp" and the mode knob to "Heat". Wait at least 40 seconds, then depress the "OFF" button on the control panel. The voltmeter will show a reading of approximately five volts for a short period (until park is reached) and will then go to zero.
5. Turn voltmeter knob to "Blower Volts" and set mode knob to "A/C" end depress push button to "LO-AUTO". System should come on in low blower Heat mode, then shift to air conditioning, then increase in steps to Hi blower-A/C.
6. Set voltmeter knob to "Servo-Amp". Turn ignition off, Results should be same as in Step  4 above.
