Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the inside front door handle bezel. Refer to Handle Bezel Replacement - Inside .
  2. Remove the front door power mirror, window and door lock switch. Refer to Mirror, Window, and Door Lock Switch Replacement .
  3. Remove the TORX® bolts located under the pull handle and behind the switch plate.
  4. Starting at the lower rear, use J 38778  to remove the retaining clips which secure the front door trim panel to the front door. Four clips are located below the inner belt molding and one clip is located below the top speaker.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the trim panel upper speaker.
  6. Remove the front door trim panel from the vehicle.
