DTC B2750: Instrument Panel Cluster & Powertrain Control Module Communication Failure: Testing

  1. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has not been performed, perform THEFT DETERRENT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below left side of instrument panel, on hood release bracket. Using scan tool, select DISPLAY DTCs function for Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). If DTC B2750 is stored as current, go to next step. If DTC B2750 is not stored as current, inspect for intermittents. See TROUBLE SHOOTING  .
  3. DTC B2750 must be stored with B2710 or B2711. If DTC B2710 or B2711 is stored as current, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC retrieved. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC B2710 or B2711 is not stored as current, inspect for intermittents. See TROUBLE SHOOTING  .
