DTC U1016: Loss Of Communications With Powertrain Control Module (Pcm): Description

DTC U1016 indicates Body Function Controller (BFC) has lost class 2 serial communication with PCM for 15 seconds. When DTC U1016 is set, failsoft data associated with DTC U1016 is stored in PCM. DTC U1016 can be cleared using scan tool, or history DTC will disappear after 100 ignition cycles if fault conditions do not reoccur.
