Trunk Lid Release Does Not Operate From Either RKE Transmitter

  1. Place transaxle in Park or Neutral. Using test light, backprobe LH I/P wiring harness junction block connector C3 terminal A10 and battery voltage. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 3).
  2. Using test light, backprobe remote control door lock receiver terminals "M" (Yellow wire) and "P" (Orange wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 4). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 5).
  3. Replace LH I/P wiring harness junction block. Verify system operation.
  4. Replace remote control door lock receiver. Verify system operation.
  5. repair open circuit in Yellow wire between LH I/P wiring harness junction block and remote control door lock receiver. Verify system operation.
