Test No. 2, Seat & Mirror Control Isolation Test

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect jumper wire between memory seat/memory mirror diagnostic connector and ground. If one beep is heard, go to next step. If one beep is not heard, check for poor ground connection. If connection is okay, go to TEST NO. 4, MEMORY SEAT/MEMORY MIRROR INPUT TEST.
  2. Move driver's seat power seat switch in all directions. If at least one beep is heard when switch is activated, replace memory seat/memory mirror control module. If at least one beep is not heard when switch is activated, go to TEST NO. 3, SEAT SWITCH INPUT TEST.
