Rear Height Will Not Go Up Or Down

  1. Turn ignition off. Using test light, backprobe between Yellow wire terminal at inoperative power seat switch and ground. Move power seat rear height switch to up position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, replace inoperative power seat switch.
  2. Backprobe between Light Blue wire terminal at inoperative power seat switch and ground. Move power seat rear height switch to down position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, replace inoperative power seat switch.
  3. Disconnect inoperative power seat motor connector. Connect test light between Yellow wire at inoperative power seat motor harness and ground. Move power seat rear height switch to up position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, repair open in Yellow wire between inoperative power seat switch and power seat motor.
  4. Connect test light between Light Blue wire at inoperative power seat motor harness and ground. Move power seat rear height switch to down position. If test light glows, replace rear height motor. If test light does not glow, repair open in Light Blue wire between inoperative power seat switch and power seat motor.
