Code 124 Test - EBTCM-To-PCM Requested Torque Circuit Malfunction

Turn ignition off and disconnect EBTCM 32-pin connector. Turn ignition on and measure voltage between EBTCM connector terminal "F14" (Orange/Black wire) and ground. Voltage should be approximately 5 Volts. If voltage is not as specified, go to step 4). If voltage is as specified, go to next step.
Turn ignition off and reconnect EBTCM connector. Turn ignition on and backprobe PCM connector terminal "C13" (Orange/Black wire) to ground. Voltage should be approximately 5 Volts. If voltage is not as specified, repair short to ground in orange/black wire. If voltage is as specified, go to next step.
Turn ignition off. Inspect orange/black wire, PCM connector and EBTCM connector for damage that may result in intermittent open or short to ground. Reconnect all connectors and start engine. If DTC 124 does not reset after 10 seconds, malfunction likely due to poor connection. See DIAGNOSTIC AIDS. If DTC 124 resets, replace PCM.
Measure voltage between EBTCM connector terminal "F14" (Orange/Black wire) and ground. If voltage is more than 5 volts, repair short to voltage in orange/black wire. If voltage is not more than 5 Volts, go to next step.
Backprobe PCM connector terminal "C13" and measure voltage to ground. If voltage is approximately 5 Volts, repair damaged connector terminals or open in orange/black wire. If voltage is not approximately 5 Volts, go to next step.
Turn ignition off and disconnect white PCM connector. Measure resistance between PCM connector terminal "C13" and ground. Resistance should be infinite. If resistance is not as specified, repair short to ground in orange/black wire. If resistance is as specified, replace PCM.
