Circuit Description

This test identifies open brake switch circuit that prevents brake switch input to EBCM from changing status when brakes are applied. Code 95 is used in conjunction with Codes 91 and 92 to determine cause of an open brake switch malfunction.

Code 95 can set after initialization is complete if brake switch input voltage is out of specification for one second. Code will be stored, but ABS will be disabled and ABS warning light illuminated.
