Speed Sensor & Buffer

Speed sensor consists of magnetic speed sensor, located in transmission (2WD) or transfer case (4WD), and speed sensor buffer (part of DRAC on some models). DRAC is located behind instrument panel, at right end near ECM. Magnetic speed sensor sends signal representing vehicle speed to DRAC, which converts signal and sends it to cruise control module.
