Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM): Removal

  1. Turn ignition off. Refer to EBCM LOCATIONS table to locate EBCM on a specific model.
  2. Remove nut attaching EBCM bracket to upper instrument panel. Push in retainer attaching EBCM bracket to sidewall. It will be necessary to cut EBCM push-in retainer head. Remove EBCM and bracket. Remove electrical connectors. Remove EBCM from vehicle.
  3. Remove EBCM connectors. Remove EBCM attaching screws. Remove EBCM from firewall.
